One of the ways that we’re able to continue to provide delicious, nutritious meals to our guests is through the donations of many great restaurants and markets in the Montclair area who are willing to give their surplus food to Toni’s.

But you may not know that one of our regular donors is located in Brooklyn!  Pastosa Ravioli is a third generation, family-owned and operated Italian specialty food company widely recognized as the source of New York’s finest ravioli, fresh pasta and Italian specialties.   Pastosa has donated their famous ravioli, meats, sauces and pies to Toni’s thanks to the work of Mike Reitman.  Mike is a volunteer at Toni’s as well as a member of the Toni’s Kitchen Advisory Committee.  Mike is also an accomplished musician and a member of the fabulous TNT Ramblers band, which plays at Toni’s every month.  Mike and his son Leo (seen in the photo delivering raviolis to Toni’s) pick up the great stuff from Pastosa’s in Brooklyn (the Avenue N and East 53rd Street location) and bring it back to Toni’s for our guests to enjoy.

Thanks to Mike Costanza at Pastosa’s for donating so generously and to Mike Reitman for making it happen!
