Toni’s Kitchen Director of Outreach Anne Mernin receives a donation from the Hillside Elementary School Young Entrepreneurs Class

On Friday, December 5, students in the Young Entrepreneurs class at Hillside Elementary School donated $250 to Toni’s Kitchen.  As part of their schoolwork, the class started a business, sold stock, then sold their product (cookies!) and made a profit. They actually doubled their investors’ money and still were able to donate $250 to Toni’s Kitchen.  Teachers Christian Hart and Megan Murphy led the students through the exercise.  We thank the students and teachers for their generous donation to Toni’s!
