Best Food Items for Our Healthy Backpack Program

Here’s a list of food items that are great for our Healthy Backpack Program, which helps get healthy food to those in need in our community:

  • Peanut butter (no glass jars please)
  • Oatmeal
  • Cereal
  • Shelf-stable milk (like Parmalat)
  • Bags/boxes of rice (regular, not bulk size)
  • Healthy snacks (granola bars, trail mix, etc.)
  • Dried/canned fruit (individual containers of raisins, apple sauce, etc.)
