Once again this year, the Bradford Elementary School has given another fantastic donation to Toni’s Kitchen from their annual Walk-a-Thon.  Bradford raised $2,404 from their annual event, and have donated the money to Toni’s.

“We know what a great service Toni’s Kitchen provides to families in need in our community and we appreciate your efforts,” said Bradford Principal Naomi Kirkman.  “We hope this donation will enable you to further your mission of ensuring no one in our community goes hungry.”
The donation from the Bradford School Walk-a-Thon this year will be used for our Healthy Backpack program.  Bradford students have also participated in helping pack our backpacks as part of their continuing volunteer efforts.  Toni’s Kitchen provides backpacks filled with healthy foods to families with food need through partnerships with tutoring programs, early childhood centers, school aftercare programs, and other partners who provide strong programs for families.

Bradford has been a steady supporter of Toni’s Kitchen.  Proceeds from a previous Walk-a-Thon funded a new dishwasher for Toni’s.  We are grateful for their commitment to making our community a stronger, healthier place.  Thank you!
