Florence McAlvanah, Toni’s Kitchen volunteer and Advisory Committee member, has been named Hospice Director of the Year by the New Jersey State Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.  Florence has led the Atlantic Hospice team (part of the Atlantic Health System)  for over 10 years, after more than 20 years of oncology experience at Mountainside Hospital, where she was Manager of Cancer Services.

Florence volunteered at Toni’s Kitchen back in the 1990’s, and returned to volunteering about 4 years ago.  She joined the Toni’s Kitchen Advisory Committee a few months ago.
