Toni’s Kitchen Marks MLK Day with “Day of Service”

Students from MHS Civics and Government Small Learning Community stopped by with donations on MLK Day

Once again this year, Toni’s Kitchen participated in the MLK Day of Service on Martin Luther King, Jr., Day on Monday, January 15.  Dozens of volunteers and donors gathered and dropped off all sorts of amazing donations to Toni’s.

When we put out the call for donations, so many people in our community rise to the occasion and come with donations.  We received donations from schools, families, kids, local businesses, and lots of others.  Donations ranged from cans, prepared meals and sandwiches, baked goods, and foods for our Healthy Backpacks.  We are so grateful for the generosity of our community!

Thanks to everyone who donated!
