The Peace Islands Institute and New Jersey Assemblyman Thomas Giblin presented a donation of more than 100 pounds of fresh meat as part of the Muslim festival of Eid.  The annual festival was this past Sunday, and on that day and during the following week, Muslims make a donation of meat to the poor and needy.

Assemblyman Thomas P. Giblin (District 34) along with Mel Turk, Program Coordinator of Peace Islands Institute made the presentation on to St. Luke’s Director of Outreach Anne Mernin.
